Each row in the requirements grid can have a linked verification. When a requirement has no verification yet, its verification cell is empty.
Click an empty verification cell to open the create sidebar. The new verification form now pre-links to that row's requirement automatically, so you do not need to search for and add the requirement yourself. You can still remove that requirement from the form before saving if you decide to link something else instead.
Verifications created this way, and new verifications in general, now default to the "Open" status. You can change the status before saving.
Use the "Add Verification" button in the requirements page header to create a verification that starts with no linked requirement. This works the same way it always has: the form opens empty, and any requirement captured from a previous cell click is cleared.
